Ivana Sajko

Ivana Sajko (1975) is one of Croatia's most versatile contemporary artistic figures. She writes prose, plays and essays and works as a dramaturge, director and critic, but is also known for her solo performances. Her artistic practice sees her continuously trying to escape from well-defined genres. She searches for a hybrid use of language that permits multiple forms of presentation, between prose and theatre, in an unbounded space where the intimate and the historical can come together.
