The Academia Belgica is a unique place for research, creation, collaboration and promotion located in the heart of Rome. It is housed in a beautiful building in a green area, situated on a hill on the edge of the grounds of Villa Borghese. The mission of the Academia Belgica is to improve Italo-Belgian relations in both the scientific and cultural fields. The Academia Belgica welcomes Belgian researchers and artists, who can spend time in residence at the house. There are eight spacious and comfortable rooms with bathroom, a shared kitchen and living room, a library and a garden. The Academia regularly holds concerts, exhibitions and lectures to introduce Belgian cultural, scientific and artistic achievements to the Roman public.
